Qualifications

• Experience leading a Test Engineering team and delivering on project milestones.
• Strong background in PCB testing, embedded firmware, and software validation.
• Familiarity with LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, and C/C++ for test automation.

Responsibilities

• Test digital and mixed-signal PCB assemblies, including embedded firmware and software validation for control products.
• Lead the Test Engineering team in designing, developing, and maintaining test hardware and software for new and existing products.
• Partner with Quality, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to investigate defects, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering during new-product development to translate test specifications into manufacturing test hardware and software.
• Assess existing test systems and identify opportunities to improve performance, functionality, and efficiency.
• Supervise and mentor Test Engineers, guiding project timelines, training, and professional development.
• Develop test-automation software using tools such as LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, and C/C++ for hardware-in-the-loop and functional test systems.

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with a Test Engineering Manager search in the Youngstown, OH area.

Relocation assistance is available for candidates relocating from outside the area.

Responsibilities:

• Test digital and mixed-signal PCB assemblies, including embedded firmware and software validation for control products.
• Lead the Test Engineering team in designing, developing, and maintaining test hardware and software for new and existing products.
• Partner with Quality, Design Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering to investigate internal and external defects, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering during new-product development to translate test specifications into manufacturing test hardware and software.
