Job summary

Qorvo is seeking a Test Engineering Intern to work within our High Performance Analog, Advanced Cellular, and Connectivity and Sensors groups. You will develop automated test software, assist with RF fixture design, and help measure and analyze data under guidance from experienced engineers.

This internship offers mentoring, hands-on assignments, and opportunities to present to business leaders, with competitive hourly pay and exposure to upper management.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS, MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Analog/RF circuit design coursework.
• Knowledge of programming languages such as VB.NET, C# or other OO language.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Create automated test software to control test equipment.
• Support RF fixture and probe card design activities including PCB design.
• Measure product using test equipment like DC source/measure units spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators and digital pattern generators.
• Process, verify and analyze the measured data; produce clear concise presentations and reports.
• Document test system and software designs.
• Develop measurement automation using C++ and Microsoft C#.NET or NI LabVIEW.
• Develop product interface fixture to probe the product using Altium Designer and Keysight ADS.
