The candidate should have an Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, plus 5–7 years’ test engineering support experience and strong soldering skills.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in test engineering support.
• Knowledge of basic electrical principles and test equipment.
• Experience operating and maintaining ATE systems.
• Soldering proficiency and familiarity with components and ratings.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics and test specifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in constructing and supporting proprietary ATE hardware and software.
• Construct, analyze and debug test circuits and document experiments.
• Support test engineers with new product development and testing existing products.
• Collaborate with engineers to design, build and repair circuits for testing.
• Build custom test equipment for use in automated test systems.
• Document data and testing specifications for products.
