Job summary

CIS Secure is seeking a Test Engineer – Integration, Test, and Documentation to join our team supporting the REACT program at Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG), Maryland. The Test Engineer will coordinate across hardware, software, firmware, and test teams to ensure systems are properly integrated, tested, and documented, and will help deliver user manuals, operating procedures, and installation guides.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting systems engineering, system integration, or technical test activities for complex hardware/software systems.
• Experience developing and managing integration plans, test plans, and verification activities.
• Ability to coordinate technical work across software, hardware, firmware, and other engineering disciplines.
• Experience documenting system architecture, interfaces, configurations, requirements, and test results.
• Experience tracking technical issues, integration dependencies, risks, and corrective actions through resolution.
• Strong technical writing skills with experience developing clear engineering and operational documentation.
• Ability to translate engineering information into user manuals, operating procedures, installation guides, or training materials.
• Familiarity with requirements management, configuration management, and verification/validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Support system integration activities and develop and coordinate test plans.
• Track requirements, technical issues, integration dependencies, risks, and corrective actions through resolution.
• Support system-level verification and validation activities.
• Work closely with engineering teams to maintain technical documentation and capture system configurations and interfaces.
• Develop user-facing materials, including operating procedures and user manuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
