Job summary

BTS Software Solutions at Aberdeen Proving Ground seeks a Test Engineer – Integration, Test, and Documentation to support the integration, verification, and delivery of advanced systems for national security missions.

You will coordinate across hardware, software, and test teams, develop test plans, maintain documentation, and produce user manuals and operating procedures. Active TS/SCI clearance required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Experience in systems engineering, system integration, or technical testing for complex hardware/software systems.
• Experience developing and managing integration/test plans and verification activities.
• Ability to coordinate across software, hardware, firmware and other engineering disciplines.
• Experience documenting system architecture, interfaces, configurations, requirements and test results.
• Experience tracking technical issues, integration dependencies, risks and corrective actions.
• Strong technical writing skills for engineering and operational documentation.
• Ability to translate engineering information into user manuals, SOPs or training materials.
• Familiarity with requirements management, configuration management and V&V processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the integration, verification and delivery of advanced systems for national security missions.
• Coordinate across hardware, software, firmware and test teams to ensure proper integration and testing.
• Develop and coordinate test plans, track requirements and issues, and support system-level verification.
• Maintain technical documentation and produce user-facing materials including procedures and manuals.
