Job summary

CIS Secure seeks a Test Engineer – Integration, Test, and Documentation to support the REACT program at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The role spans system integration, verification, and delivery of complex hardware/software/firmware with rigorous documentation.

Requires TS/SCI clearance and a strong background in cross-disciplinary test activities. Based at APG, this full‑time position emphasizes collaboration with engineering teams to develop test plans, user-facing materials, and robust

Qualifications

• Experience supporting systems engineering, system integration, or technical test activities for complex hardware/software systems.
• Experience developing and managing integration plans, test plans, test procedures, and verification activities.
• Ability to coordinate technical work across software, hardware, firmware, and other engineering disciplines.
• Experience documenting system architecture, interfaces, configurations, requirements, and test results.
• Experience tracking technical issues, integration dependencies, risks, and corrective actions through resolution.
• Strong technical writing skills with experience developing clear engineering and operational documentation.
• Ability to translate engineering information into user manuals, operating procedures, installation guides, or training materials.
• Familiarity with requirements management, configuration management, and verification/validation processes.

Responsibilities

• Support system integration activities and develop and coordinate test plans.
• Track requirements, technical issues, integration dependencies, risks, and corrective actions through resolution.
• Support system-level verification and validation activities.
• Work closely with engineering teams to maintain technical documentation and capture system configurations and interfaces.
• Develop user-facing materials, including operating procedures and user manuals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
