Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is seeking a Test Engineer to support Navy EW programs at Point Mugu, CA. The role includes setting up test environments, validating bench systems and assisting calibration and testing activities onsite.

Candidates should have a BS degree, 3+ years electronics design/testing experience, and an active DoD security clearance (Secret). US citizenship is required. Position is contingent on funding.

Our work depends on a Test Engineer to help support the Navy’s airborne Electronic Warfare Integrated Laboratories (EWIL) Division, Electronic Combat Simulation and Evaluation Laboratory (ECSEL) program to work onsite at Point Mugu, CA. Position is pending funding. As a Test Engineer for the ECSEL program, you will be responsible to help various airborne EW programs with their testing through set up of the test environment.

HOW OUR TEST ENGINEER WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Design, build, modify, repair, maintain and test various EW lab test benches.
• Perform daily start-up of bench systems to check operational integrity and performance.
• Calibrate and test various systems, components, and applications as required.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (Required)

• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret
• Experience: 3+ years of experience with electronics design, testing and troubleshooting.
• Education: BS Degree (or equivalent experience)
• Good organizational and management skills
• Location: Onsite at Point Mugu, CA
• Position Availability: Position is pending funding.

The likely salary range for this position is $107,744 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
