Volkswagen in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Test Engineer to shape TestCafe fast and reliable. You will own TDD projects, collaborate across teams, and ship regression fixes to customers in California on the same day they report them.

You will bring hands-on experience with LoadRunner and bug tracking, plus the ability to present to a CA-wide audience without a script. The role includes growth through paid certifications, conferences, and dedicated learning time.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of LoadRunner and bug tracking.
Experience presenting to large audiences.
Ability to negotiate test-related tradeoffs with product teams.

Responsibilities

Sketch the TestCafe architecture, defend it in review, then build it.
Negotiate Jest tradeoffs with product when timelines collide.
Prototype proof-of-concept solutions for emerging technology requirements.
Integrate third-party services and internal tools into the Volkswagen stack.
Stand up observability so Volkswagen sees failures before customers in CA.
Ship regression testing fixes to customers in Sacramento, CA the same day they report them.
Build internal tooling to improve developer productivity and velocity.
Refactor the technology module Volkswagen has been afraid to touch.
