Job summary

Linden Atlantic LLC in Sacramento, CA is seeking a QA Tester for a full-time role. You will design and execute test plans, log defects, and work with developers to verify fixes in a collaborative office environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software QA, strong knowledge of SDLC/STLC, and experience with JIRA, TestRail, and Selenium. Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript is preferred, along with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with both manual and automated testing.
Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC workflows.
Experience with test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for software applications.
Identify, record, document, and track defects using a bug-tracking system.
Work closely with developers to ensure reported bugs are fixed and verified.
Conduct regression testing to ensure new features do not impact existing functionality.
Stay up-to-date with QA trends and best practices; provide process-improvement feedback.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve QA workflow.
