Job summary

Konik, partnering with a local engineering and manufacturing firm, seeks a Test Engineer to lead the full lifecycle of mechanical, electrical, and integrated systems qualification testing in Eagan, MN.

You will develop tailored test procedures, execute tests (vibration, EMI/EMC, environmental), analyze data, and document results while supporting design improvements and collaborating with engineering teams. This role requires on-site work with potential travel for tests.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in test engineering or related field.
• Experience with environmental, vibration, EMI/EMC, and human-factors testing.
• Strong data analysis and technical writing skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 15% and ability to obtain U.S. government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and tailor qualification procedures to military standards and mission profiles.
• Design instrumentation setups and test fixtures for accurate results.
• Execute qualification testing (vibration, EMI/EMC, environmental) in certified facilities.
• Collect, analyze, and report test data; provide actionable recommendations.
• Troubleshoot and perform root-cause analysis during test events.
• Write, review, and update technical documentation (plans, procedures, reports).
• Contribute to process improvements and test infrastructure upgrades.
