Job summary

EMD Curtiss Wright Electro Mechanical is seeking a Test Engineer for our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location to lead development, implementation, and execution of product testing and test facilities.

You will collaborate with design teams and contractors to establish test plans, estimate costs, and maintain facilities, while supporting customer requirements and project teams across the division.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing, testing, or operating rotating electrical equipment or medium voltage drives.
• Knowledge of vibration, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic measurement instrumentation.
• Experience managing external contractors on test facilities or programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own test plans, specifications, and procedures.
• Lead design, implementation, and operation of test facilities.
• Train and provide technical direction to operations on test execution.
• Review and analyze test results to inform design decisions.
• Prepare reports and proposals documenting test activities.
