Job description

The Test Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks, as well as creating detailed test plans and cases aligned with requirements.

Responsibilities include executing manual and automated tests at various levels, performing requirements traceability, identifying and tracking software defects, and collaborating closely with developers and government customers to ensure quality and resolution.

Key qualifications include at least 2+ years of software/systems testing experience, proficiency in test automation, Linux environments, and reviewing C++ code. Strong analytical, communication, and teamwork skills are essential, along with an active Secret Clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Preferred experience encompasses DoD lab work, Navy fleet systems, and tools like DOORS, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Git. A BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cyber Security, or equivalent Navy experience is required.
