Job summary

HME in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Test Engineer IV to join our hardware-focused team. You will design, develop, and document ATE/ICT test solutions, write software for test equipment, and help advance fixture and test programming methodologies.

The role requires 8+ years in engineering, BS in Engineering (MS preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with analog/digital circuits. Travel up to 5% and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

• Thorough understanding of both analog and digital electronic circuits and design.
• Strong programming skills in both low and high level programming languages.
• Ability to apply statistical analysis methods to improve process control.
• Knowledge and ability to program ATE test equipment.
• Strong/effective communication skills.
• Knowledge in the use of Lean Manufacturing tools.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to identify cause and effect relationship and develop potential process improvements.
• MS Office Suite knowledge.
• Experience 8+ years
• Travel: 5% (if needed for training)

• Production Support

The posted pay range, $112,700 - $150,200, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
