Job summary

HME seeks a Test Engineer IV in Carlsbad, CA to support production and advance test methods. You will design and document ATE and ICT with HP/Keysight 3070, and develop software for test programs.

Also responsible for monitoring pilot production, generating test data sheets, and contributing to continuous improvement through Lean practices. Requires 8+ years of engineering experience and BS/MS in engineering.

What You Will Do In The Position

• Production Support
  • Designs, Develops and documents ATE and ICT (HP/Keysight 3070)
  • Develops/Debugs ATE and ICT software programs
  • Develops new state of the art test fixturing and test programming methods
  • Monitors pilot production activities
  • Generates test procedures and test data sheets
• Performs all other job responsibilities as assigned.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Thorough understanding of both analog and digital electronic circuits and design.
• Strong programming skills in both low and high level programming languages.
• Ability to apply statistical analysis methods to improve process control.
• Knowledge and ability to program ATE test equipment.
• Strong/effective communication skills.
• Knowledge in the use of Lean Manufacturing tools
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with ability to identify cause and effect relationship and develop potential process improvements

The posted pay range, $112,700 - $150,200, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors.
