Job summary

6AM City, LLC is seeking a performance-driven Test Engineer to support US Army programs. The role emphasizes testing, environmental validation, and maintaining test documentation across multiple locations.

The ideal candidate will have DoD program experience, environmental testing knowledge, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance as needed. This position will support several locations and contribute to advanced military vehicle testing efforts.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• MA/MS in engineering with 5–6 years in test engineering supporting DoD programs.
• 1 academic year in a related post-secondary program; 7 additional years of experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience with environmental testing and environmental test documentation preparation/tailoring.
• Knowledge of environmental testing equipment, data collection, and field data acquisition.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-810 and tailoring concepts for military systems.
• NDI methods include fluorescent penetrant, magnetic particles, ultrasonic, eddy current, x-ray.

DCS is searching for a performance-driven Test Engineer to support US Army programs. A focus on either Testing, Financial, logistics, engineering, technical support and/or management of advanced networks for military vehicles and equipment. We’re seeking individuals who are excited to take on meaningful challenges, contribute to innovative solutions, and help shape the future of a fast-evolving mission space. This position will be supporting multiple locations.

Required Skills:

• Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
• MA/MS from an accredited college or university in engineering with 5 to 6 years in test engineering supporting DOD programs.
• 1 academic year at an accredited college or university in an accredited preferred degree related post-secondary program for 1 year of experience. 7 additional years of experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
• Environmental testing and environmental test documentation preparation/tailoring.
• Operation, application, characteristics, and requirements of environmental (both climatic and dynamic) test machines used for testing of military equipment and systems, types (digital and analog) of measurement, recording, analysis, and control instrumentation required and used during environmental testing and obtaining of field data.
• MIL-STD-810 and the tailoring concept of environmental testing as it pertains to military systems.
• NDI methods including fluorescent penetrant, magnetic particles, ultrasonic, eddy current, x-ray and computer topography methods and disciplines, fractures mechanics, probability of detection and confidence levels of inspections is required.
