Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement cost-effective testing methods for all phases of product development and manufacturing. You will prepare test programs, fixtures, and procedures, and plan labor, schedules, and equipment for testing standard and special devices.

The role involves leading witness tests with customers and delivering rigorous test data analyses. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Electronics, 5–7 years of experience, and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or electronics or closely related field.
At least 5–7 years of experience; UPS units experience can be considered equivalent.
Knowledge of 3-phase electrical circuits (high power).
Knowledge of analog and digital electronic circuitry.
Ability to use standard electrical instruments.

Responsibilities

Lead and interface with customers during witness tests.
Design and develop instrumentation systems with uncertainty analysis to optimize test costs.
Design and develop test setup and data analysis computer programs.
Design and fabrication of testing and test-control apparatus and equipment.
Analyze and interpret test data and prepare technical reports for engineering and management.
