Vertiv is seeking a Test Engineer to support the Product Integrity department within the Power Management unit. This role involves designing and executing test cases, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring timely project completion. Ideal candidates should have a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and relevant experience.
The position is based in Delaware, OH, and requires additional skills in mechanical assembly and proficiency in testing electrical equipment.
The Test Engineer will work in and support the Product Integrity department of the Power Management business unit. This team executes test cases to meet the design validation phase of the New Product Development (NPD) process. Products may have a regional scope or a global scope. The Test Engineer will design, plan, track and direct all test activities for Vertiv Product Development (VPD) programs and Engineer-to-Order (ETO) projects; develop test cases, conduct test cases, and review test data. Participate in weekly project meeting by providing schedule updates. Participate in project planning activities to define the scope and schedule of the project. Troubleshoot equipment and units under test. Setup and conduct tests to support field issues. This position will be based onsite at Vertiv's Delaware, OH location.
