Job summary

Hyve Solutions seeks a Test Engineer II to design, develop, and execute test plans for server and storage products, ensuring quality and reliability. You will work across hardware, software, and product teams to implement comprehensive test coverage, automate tests with Python/Bash, and troubleshoot test environments in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The role requires a strong background in hardware testing, scripting, Linux, and hands-on testing equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or CS required.
• 3+ years hardware testing experience, preferably with server/storage systems.
• Strong scripting skills in Python or Bash for automation.
• Experience with Linux operating systems and CLI.
• Familiarity with test equipment and lab tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans, cases, and procedures for server/storage products.
• Execute functional, performance, reliability, stress, and compatibility tests.
• Configure and troubleshoot test environments including hardware/software/network.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and report to development teams.
• Collaborate with hardware, software, and product teams for coverage.
• Automate test cases and develop scripts in Python/Bash.
• Participate in design reviews focusing on testability and quality.
• Document test processes, results, and issues thoroughly.
• Stay updated on industry trends and testing methodologies.
