Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in test design, data collection, data analysis and/or equipment design.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to convey technical information.
• Experience with product and materials testing.
• Experience with statistical analysis of data.
• Basic knowledge of biomechanics and/or CAD is a plus.
• Ability to travel occasionally (5%).

Responsibilities

• Complete standard materials and mechanical tests and review data.
• Analyze test results and write reports communicating findings to teams.
• Assist more senior engineers on testing projects and protocols.
• Consult and train others in testing techniques and equipment usage.
• Identify changes in lab protocols or equipment to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Work with product creation teams to ensure footwear quality.
