Job summary

Nike in Beaverton, OR is seeking a Test Engineer II for the Nike Footwear Lab. You will perform standard materials and mechanical tests, analyze data, and report results to project teams. You’ll also assist more senior engineers, train teammates, and help refine lab protocols to boost accuracy and efficiency.

The role requires a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering or related field, at least 2 years of test design and data analysis experience, strong communication, and travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in test design, data collection, data analysis and/or equipment design.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to convey technical information.
• Experience with product and materials testing.
• Experience with statistical analysis of data.
• Basic knowledge of biomechanics and/or CAD is a plus.
• Ability to travel occasionally (5%).

What You Will Work On

You will complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and write reports and communicate the results to the teams. You will also assist more senior engineers on testing related projects, consult and train others in your area of expertise, and help identify changes in protocols or equipment within the lab to improve accuracy and efficiency

You will work with product creation teams to ensure the quality of Nike footwear products.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field required.
