Job summary

Artech is seeking a Product Test Engineer II for our Beaverton, OR location. This on-site role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering and at least 2 years in lab testing.

Job Title: Product Test Engineer II
Location: Beaverton, OR
Salary Range: $40-45 per hour
Introduction

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Product Test Engineer II to join our team at our on-site location in Beaverton, OR. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and performance of our basketball footwear products through rigorous testing and analysis.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a lab/testing environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to a non-technical audience.
• Hands-on experience with product/materials testing.
• Experience with statistical analysis of data.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
• Experience with universal testing machines (UTMs) or Instron machines.
• AutoCAD experience.
• 3D printing experience.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Complete standard materials and mechanical tests, review and analyze data, and communicate results to teams.
• Assist more senior engineers on testing related projects and consult and train others in your area of expertise.
• Identify changes in protocols or equipment within the lab to improve accuracy and efficiency.
