Job summary

Medtronic ENT is seeking a Test Engineer II to join our Neuroscience team in Jacksonville, FL. This onsite role focuses on verification, validation, and integration of complex electromechanical medical device systems across software, electrical, and mechanical domains.

You will develop test methods, create fixtures and automation, and collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, and R&D teams to ensure compliant, robust product development through the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering with minimum 2 years of experience, or advanced degree with minimum 0 years.
• Experience developing and executing verification/validation for electromechanical or software-enabled products.
• Hands-on with laboratory instrumentation, data collection, and debugging.
• Experience creating technical docs such as test protocols, reports, and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute verification and validation test plans, protocols, analyses, and reports.
• Integrate software, electrical, mechanical subsystems to perform verification testing.
• Design and maintain automated test fixtures, emulators, and non-product software to support verification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality artifacts and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in design and code reviews to improve testability and coverage.
