Ducommun, Inc. in Carson, CA is seeking a Test Engineer II to design automated test systems and lead electrical troubleshooting for test and product failures. You will drive system reliability, improve data quality, and support new product introductions with test strategies.

The role requires 3–5 years in test engineering, strong C/C++ and LabVIEW/Python skills, and the ability to read electrical drawings. This position offers opportunities for growth in a manufacturing environment.

Formación

• 3-5 years of experience programming in C, C++, Python or LabVIEW.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and assembly instructions.
• Experience in performing electrical tests (continuity, insulation resistance, hi-pot, etc.).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design automated test systems using LabVIEW and/or Python to perform electrical or mechanical tests.
• Lead electrical troubleshooting efforts for test and product failures.
• Drive test system reliability, cycle time, and data quality improvement.
• Support new product introductions by defining and implementing test strategies.
• Support production escalations related to test system issues.
• Lead the maintenance and troubleshooting of existing test programs.
• Support training operators on new or existing test equipment.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting for RMA units.
• Perform other Engineering activities as required.
