Job summary

Ducommun, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to support current and future manufacturing needs. You will develop and generate manufacturing work instructions and procedures, and design tooling, fixtures, and other manufacturing aids.

The role involves calibrations using electronic and mechanical test equipment, interpreting results from schematics, and ensuring production quality. Overtime may be required; ITAR/EAR compliance applies.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience reading wiring lists, schematics, process sheets and procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork with cross-functional groups.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills; able to input data and operate programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and generate manufacturing work instructions and procedures.
• Provide engineering support to meet current and future manufacturing requirements.
• Design and develop tooling, fixtures and other manufacturing aids.
• Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members.
• Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.
• Perform other assignments as required.
• Calibrate and test with electronic and mechanical equipment; interpret results.
