Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII in Houston, TX is seeking a Test Engineer (IB3) to design, develop, and maintain test software and hardware for manufacturing environments. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure production readiness and product reliability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years in a manufacturing or electronics-focused environment.
• Minimum of (2) years in production.
• Experience with advanced failure analysis and test development.
• Proficient in python and Linux
• Familiar with multi-tiered systems and PXE servers
• Working knowledge of unit test scripts and network fundamentals
• Strong problem-solving abilities and solid grasp of software engineering principles
• Experience with software system architecture and test development.
• Proficient in programming languages: Visual Basic
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

SUMMARY

Develop, modify, and maintain test software and hardware solutions for manufacturing environments across various programs. Ensure high-quality testing processes to support production readiness and product reliability.

EDUCATION
