Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat seeks a Test Engineer I/II - System Administrator to maintain and secure the UIS network and support simulator development environments at the Newport Engineering Office in Middletown, RI.

You will patch systems, implement STIG controls, and provide remote support for CIS environments, with occasional travel to Groton, CT. Strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills are essential, along with security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-5 years of relevant experience with maintaining & administrating Windows workstation/servers, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance through the Department of Defense.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the UIS network and ensure reliable access for the Sim/Stim engineering group.
• Implement STIG controls and perform regular system patching.
• Support CIS environments located in Groton, CT; travel to Newport, RI about twice a month.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure system health and security.
