Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security seeks an Associate Test Engineer in Heath, OH to support development and overhaul of test strategies for hardware and software used in military systems. You will work within multi‑disciplined teams delivering innovative testing solutions.

Responsibilities include developing test procedures, analyzing data, and coordinating hardware overhauls, with exposure to LabVIEW and Visual Studio.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in engineering/related field.
2+ years of related work experience with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent
1+ years of manufacturing, production, or electrical/instrumentation engineering experience

Responsibilities

Support a gated, phase‑gate project management process.
Interpret, analyze, and develop engineering data to support requirements.
Demonstrate the effectiveness of test methods.
Develop test procedures and instrumentation definitions for each test.
Design hardware or software components and verify with analytical tools.
Coordinate manufacture and assembly of overhauled test hardware.
Identify solutions and support metrology processes and tools.
Evaluate test performance data and alert senior engineers of off‑nominal data; prepare test reports.
Develop test debrief material.
Collaborate with program management and government counterparts.
Revise drawings/docs as assemblies are replaced; conduct test and qualification of overhauled equipment.
Test software development or support using LabVIEW and/or Visual Studio.
