Sonny's Enterprises is the worlds largest manufacturer of conveyorized car wash equipment, parts, and supplies, based in the USA. The Test Engineer I will help ensure quality and reliability by designing and executing test plans with the new product development team.

You will run manual and automated tests, document defects, and drive ongoing improvements to testing processes. A Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering is required, with strong communication, analytical, and teamwork skills

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field required.
• Solid understanding of testing principles, methodologies, and practices.
• Experience with manual and automated test hardware.
• Experience with hydraulic systems and components preferred.
• Knowledge of flow, pressure, force, and other sensors preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the new product development team to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to ensure the performance, durability, and reliability of our products.
• Identify and document defects, and work closely with design engineers to facilitate their resolution.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging testing tools, and technologies.

The Test Engineer I will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of Sonny’s products. This role will work closely with the new product development team to design and execute test plans, identify and document defects, and contribute to the overall improvement of our new product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Education and Formal Training:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering, or related field required.

The pay for this position is dependent upon experience, between $84,315.00 and $113,883.00.
