Volt is actively seeking a Test Engineer in Fremont, CA. You will configure systems and test combinations to meet requirements, thoroughly document procedures, and analyze results.

You will design software download, pre-burn, run-in, and post-burn test processes, define test fixtures, and provide training and support for testing activities. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of experience in product function testing, with preference for an IC device with software components, and a strong

Qualifications

• BSCS, BS MIS or above.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in product function, quality and reliability testing.
• Excellent interpersonal and organization skills.
• Good technical understanding of Windows and experience with Unix, C/C++ and Network testing.
• Ownership mindset with ability to take tasks with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and execute tests.
• Define, organize and implement detailed tests to verify product performance across hardware/software platforms.
• Write error reports.
• Write test specifications and perform configuration management of test suites.
