Job summary

Inserso Corporation is seeking a Test Engineer to join our team to provide mission-critical test support on USAF logistics systems (depot maintenance/supply) within a PMO environment. You will work with Government and contractor SMEs to ensure accurate implementation of system requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, along with demonstrated testing experience and strong communication skills to interact with customers and delivery teams.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience with automated/manual testing, test result reporting, test scripting and other testing techniques.
• 3 years of functional or technical experience with USAF logistics systems (depot maintenance/supply) or similar systems.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Holds a current T3 investigation or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans and test cases from development specs.
• Execute system, regression, load and acceptance testing.
• Identify, analyze, and document software defects.
• Collaborate with the development team to troubleshoot and fix issues.
• Generate reports on test results and provide feedback to project teams.
• Monitor system performance to meet user requirements.
• Participate in product design reviews for requirements, designs or potential problems.
• Update test scripts due to bugs or system changes.
• Maintain and upgrade test environments as needed.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide functional knowledge for USAF logistics systems implementation.
