Job summary

Intrepid, an SPA Company, seeks a Junior Foreign Military Sales Test Engineer to join an Army project at Redstone Arsenal, AL. The role focuses on test planning, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop testing within Air Defense Systems of Systems.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the Army Test Team, handling documentation, and supporting testing of IBCS and related systems while traveling to test ranges as required.

Qualifications

• BS in an engineering or science field.

• Ability to travel to various test ranges and work a flexible schedule during periods of testing.

• Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide test planning and execution support to an Army Test Team at Redstone Arsenal, AL.
• Support integration and testing of components such as IBCS, Patriot, Sentinel, LTAMDS, IFPC, and future sensors/launchers in the System of Systems construct.
• Assist with modeling and simulation tools to support Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.
• Support testing of the IBCS Army C2 System as it integrates with foreign components.
• Prioritize competing requirements for time and resources; adjudicate resource requirements based on Government customer and mission needs.
• Support integration and test activities of Air and Missile Defense capabilities including Range Field Testing and pre-test documentation.

SPA has an immediate need for a Junior Foreign Military Sales Test Engineer.

Responsibilities

Candidate will be co-located with an Army Project Office providing test planning and execution support to an Army Test Team operating at Redstone Arsenal, AL for current and future Air Defense System of Systems (SoS) testing.

Candidate will be required to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office with integration and testing of components such as IBCS, Patriot, Sentinel, LTAMDS, IFPC, and future sensors and launchers into the System of Systems construct.

Candidate will also assist with implementation of modeling and simulation tools to support Hardware-in-the-Loop testing for systems under test.

This position will be responsible for supporting test activities of the IBCS Army Command and Control System as it integrates with foreign components. The Test candidate must be capable of understanding the nuances of different foreign systems and be able to support test planning and requirements to meet the goals of each unique system or component.

Candidate must be able to prioritize competing requirements for time and resources, and be able to adjudicate resource requirements based on understanding of Government customer and mission needs.

This position will be responsible for supporting integration and test activities of Air and Missile Defense capabilities to include Range Field Testing and troubleshooting during pre-test integration events.

This position will address work associated with generation of pre-test documentation to include test plans, test requirements, test procedures, and test case matrices, as well as assisting with test planning meetings and Management Reviews.
