Job summary

CNH Industrial Group in Wichita, Kansas offers an on-site co-op/intern program in engineering and technical fields. You will perform structural, hydraulic, vibration, and software validation on components and skidsteer machines in lab and field settings.

Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering and be ready to work part-time during the school year and full-time in the summer.

• Willingness to work on-site in Wichita, KS for internship/co-op.
• Interest in engineering validation and testing of components and systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering test validations to determine performance, reliability, and durability of components and vehicle systems.
• Analyzes lab and field test results and conducts failure analyses; coordinates field data gathering.
• Prepares reports of test results and suggests design improvements to engineering teams.
• Utilizes engineering principles to support product development and manufacturing objectives.

Co-Op Program Overview

We are committed to building a strong talent pipeline by investing in early career professionals. Co‑ops will work part time hours during the school year and will work full time hours during the summer.

Perform stuctural, hydraulic, vibration, noise, and software validation on component and Skidsteer and Compact Track Loader machines. Testing will be performed in lab and in field applications to support the overall development and enhancement of new and existing construction.

Key Responsibilities

Performs engineering test validations to determine the performance, reliability, and durability of components and vehicle systems.

Analyzes lab test and field test results and performs failure analyses. Coordinate activities in the field to gather data relevant to equipment operations.

Prepares reports of test results, identifies potential adjustments to component dimension (size, strength, material, etc) and makes recommendations to design engineering in order to enhance overall product quality.

Utilize engineering principles, practices, calculations, and judgment to make recommendations that contribute to the engineering and manufacturing objectives for specific products.

Experience Required

Candidates must be pursuing (at minimum) a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering

Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is USD $19.57 - $27.81 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)

For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location. If a different location is considered, the applicable salary range will be communicated to candidates prior to the first interview.
