Job summary

Insight Global is seeking three Test Technicians to support a design and manufacturing company based in Vancouver, WA. You will perform assembly, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and some electronic components, following test procedures and schematics.

The role is 50/50 between assembly and testing, with standard hours Monday–Friday 6:00 am–2:30 pm; training shifts start 7:30 am–3:30 pm for the first 3 months.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of electronic and mechanical testing in a manufacturing environment.
• Soldering experience on electronic and mechanical components.
• Ability to follow test procedures, drawings, schematics, and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot mechanical and some electronic components.
• Test units by following procedures, drawings, and schematics.
• Collaborate with a team of 3–4 assemblers and test technicians; balance 50/50 assembly and testing.

Job description

Insight Global is looking for 3 Test Technicians to work for a design and manufacturing company, with this role sitting out of the Vancouver, WA location. This role will be responsible for the assembly, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of mechanical and some electronic components.

You will perform testing by following test procedures, drawings, schematics, and written instructions. This role will be working alongside a team of 3-4 individuals (assemblers and test technicians) and will be 50/50 with assembly, set-up, calibration, and testing of circuits and components.

The position can pay 22-26/hour depending on experience and hours will be regular Monday-Friday, 6am - 2:30pm. The first 3 months during training will be a 7:30am - 3:30pm schedule. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 3+years of electronic and mechanical testing and troubleshooting experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience with assembly and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical components (small to medium size)
• Soldering experience
• Experience following test procedures, drawings, schematics, and written instructions to test units
