Job Description :

JOB SUMMARY

This job is an integral member of an agile scrum team responsible for writing, executing, analyzing, and testing our software products to build scalable applications across all digital channels for our customers. The incumbent will focus on software quality and customer perspectives to enable developers to create high-quality applications aligned with the product vision. The role involves participation in every phase of the SDLC, from idea generation, business analysis, UX design, to rigorous testing for quality assurance, traceability, and compliance. The incumbent should have the technical skills to develop and execute test automation code for ongoing regression testing. Test engineers are expected to contribute to refining the CICD process, perform code reviews, and engage in manual testing.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with software engineers, product analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements for new or enhanced features. Responsible for creating test case documents, test plans, and documenting test results in compliance with SOC2 standards. Perform peer reviews of testing artifacts. Generate, manipulate, or create necessary test data. Mentor junior Test Engineers.
  • Participate in idea generation, explore and suggest business rules, and contribute to the product backlog. Attend release activities and coordinate release night activities.
  • Participate in all scrum ceremonies, assist in sprint planning, and ensure timely completion of sprints. Communicate issues to the Scrum Master, assist in story creation, and update task statuses. Monitor progress and report impediments. Mentor junior team members in these activities.
  • Develop and execute test automation scripts using technologies like Java, Selenium, and Appium, integrating with our cloud build and delivery processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION

Required: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.

Preferred: Master's Degree in Information Systems, Business Management, or Healthcare Administration.

EXPERIENCE

Required: At least 3 years of writing test artifacts adhering to SOC2 standards, including test cases, test plans, peer reviews, and test data management.

Preferred: 5 years of developing test automation software, participation in code reviews and CICD process improvements, and mentoring junior Test Engineers.

LICENSES or CERTIFICATIONS

None required or preferred.

SKILLS
  • Ability to achieve goals in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Experience with agile scrum methodology.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of full SDLC practices, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing large-scale consumer-facing applications.
  • Strong ownership, urgency, and drive.
  • Passion for user experience and usability improvements.
  • Willingness and experience mentoring junior team members.

Travel: 0-25%

Position Type: Office-based with occasional travel and training duties. Physical demands include lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.

Salary Range
