We are seeking a Mid-level Test Engineer to support a contract with a federal government client, specifically working with the United States Customs and Border Protection.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating test strategies and customized solutions with the development team
• Collecting and developing test data and technical information for test suites
• Documenting test strategies and results
• Engaging with complex and data-heavy testing scenarios
• Learning automated testing, if interested

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in a Java-based environment, as a tester or similar IT role

Required Skills:

• Experience with interface testing (APIs, EDI, middleware) and data validation/reconciliation testing
• Ability to create and modify test plans and document results
• Familiarity with issue tracking tools like Jira
• Experience testing web-based/cloud applications

Security Clearance: Active DHS, CBP, or Top-Secret clearance required.
