Job summary

X-fab Texas Inc in Texas is seeking a Test Engineer to develop and maintain test programs for parametric and functional tests. The role requires correlating test results with sister wafer fabs and assisting manufacturing to keep the test area flowing smoothly.

You will validate new test programs, set up devices on probers, and support characterization tests across sites with both automated and manual test equipment.

Qualifications

• Requires BS/MS in engineering/physics or CS with strong test background.
• Experience in parametric and functional tests.
• Experience with semiconductor test equipment and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain test programs for parametric and functional tests.
• Characterize tests and correlate with waferfabs across sites.
• Assist manufacturing for smooth material flow through the test area.
• Validate tests and correlate to functional tests using automated/manual equipment.
• Set up new devices on probers and manage test requests for characterization.
• Maintain probe cards and test interfaces; modify/test equipment as needed.
• Interface with device engineering teams (local and remote) to ensure test relevance.
• Support data distribution and wafermap interpretation for functional testing.
