Job summary

Excelity is seeking a Software Test Engineer to support a government project with a TS/SCI clearance. You will design, implement, and maintain automated tests (Robot Framework, Selenium, JMeter, SoapUI, JUnit) and work within an Agile environment using Java or Python.

Jira, Jenkins, and GitLab skills are preferred for test planning, execution, and reporting. The candidate will collaborate with the engineering team and government customer to deliver high-profile, technically complex deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience OR a PhD; an additional 4 years experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with software testing.
• Experience with automated test tools such as Robot Framework, Selenium, JMeter, SoapUI, and Junit.
• Experience documenting test plans/procedures.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing existing automated software testing scripts.
• Experience in an Agile software development environment utilizing Java or Python.

Responsibilities

• The selected Software Test Engineer will maintain and enhance automated test scripts and create and execute test procedures for development, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.
• Design and write automated test plans and procedures, analyze test results and develop/review code as necessary; document bugs in JIRA and provide test reports.

Job Description

The selected Software Test Engineer will have a background in maintaining and enhancing automated test scripts and creating and executing test procedures to support development, integration, regression and user acceptance testing.

Candidate will design and write automated test plans and procedures, analyze test results and develop and review code as necessary. In addition, the Test Engineer will document bugs in JIRA and provide test reports.
