Job summary

Excelity is seeking a Software Developer to support a government customer on high-profile, complex deliverables. The role involves collaboration with an engineering team to ensure successful development aligned with mission requirements.

The candidate will work in an Agile, microservices cloud-based environment, using Java, Python, and modern web UI frameworks, with Docker and a DevSecOps toolchain. A TS/SCI CI Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience OR a Master’s degree with 7 years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 4 years of relevant experience; An additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement.
• Experience working in an Agile, Microservice cloud-based environment.
• Experience with Java, Python, shell scripting, JSON, Spring, Spring Boot, JavaEE, Docker, and Web UI JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Angular, React).
• Top Secret/SCI CI Poly security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops user interfaces and visualizations for data discovery, analytics, and relationships.
• Develops services using REST, Java, JSON, Spring, Python, and modern Web UI frameworks.
• Supports DevSecOps pipeline tools like JIRA, Git, Junit, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory.
• Supports development and demonstration of UI/visualization concepts and backlog prioritization.

Excelity is seeking a Software Developer for a project responsible supporting an exciting Government customer with a very critical mission. The candidate will work with the engineering team and customer to ensure successful development of high profile, complex, technical deliverables that are core to the continued success of our award-winning projects.

Required Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Poly

Responsibilities:

• Designs and develops user interfaces and visualizations that support capabilities such as data discovery and query, analytic visualizations, link-node analysis, AI/ML big data analytics, and object production and relationships
• Develops services using modern techniques such as REST, Java, JSON, Spring, Python, JavaScript Web UI frameworks (e.g., jQuery, Angular, React), and Docker
• Uses processes and tools that support the DevSecOps pipeline including JIRA, Git, Junit, Jenkins, SonarQube, and Artifactory
• Supports development and demonstration of user interface and visualization concepts, and incorporates analyst feedback into the backlog
