Torch Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer to join our team at Eglin AFB, FL. You will develop and execute test plans for JMPS, create realistic operational test scenarios, and collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver mission-critical software.

The role requires a Master’s Degree in a technical field with 8+ years of experience or equivalent, excellent communication skills, US citizenship, and an active security clearance. Travel up to 25% is expected.

• Ability to develop and execute test plans for complex weapon systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Torch Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Engineer to join our team with the ACC TO at Eglin AFB, FL. As a Test Engineer your duties include but are not limited to:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) and its life cycle upgrades.
• Leverage your operational expertise to create realistic test scenarios that operationally test the mission planning environment.
• Collaborate with a team of dedicated engineers and project managers to ensure the successful delivery of mission-critical software.
• Draft and present a variety of technical documents, including test plans, operational assessments, and final reports.
• Provide expert analysis and recommendations to senior leaders on the operational suitability of new mission planning software.
• Travel to various locations (10-25%) to support testing and evaluation activities.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship
• Master’s Degree in a technical field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience working on high-visibility or mission critical aspects is required. Twelve years of relevant technical experience may be substituted for a Master’s Degree or eight years of relevant technical experience and a technical BS Degree.
• A proven ability to develop and execute test plans with current complex weapon systems in the inventory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have and maintain an active Current security clearance.

Schedule: (M-F; 8-5)

Work Location: Onsite at Eglin AFB, FL

Travel: Yes, up to 25%
