Job summary

Cintal, Inc. is seeking an engineer to support lab testing of electric drive components and systems, focusing on performance and durability testing. You will develop test plans, coordinate DUT modifications, and analyze data to summarize conclusions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering with at least 2 years of experience, and involves troubleshooting test stands and related controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering.
• Minimum 2+ years in this capacity.
• Experience with test development and data analysis.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Test Plan, coordinate DUT modifications, instrument and install DUT, Execute testing, data analysis, summarize results and conclusions.
• Lead weekly update meetings, document findings, create presentations.
• Troubleshoot issues with test stand, DUT, controls, etc.

JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN:

• Support lab testing of electric drive components and systems – performance and durability testing

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop Test Plan, Coordinate DUT modifications, Instrument and Installation of DUT, Execute testing, Data analysis, Summarize results and conclusions, lead weekly update meetings, document findings, create presentations, troubleshoot issues with test stand, DUT, controls, etc

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Agricultural Engineering
• Minimum 2+ years in this capacity is a must

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS:

• Previous testing experience
• Product development experience
• Demonstrated mechanical system troubleshooting skills

DESIRED SKILLS:

• DEWESoft DAS experience, Canape experience
