Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Lab Optics Technician to join their client’s team in Allentown, PA. This entry-level role focuses on supporting optical transport testing, troubleshooting, and hardware lab activities.

You will follow structured test procedures, document results, and collaborate with engineers to validate new technologies. Associates or a BA are required, with networking/telecom exposure valued. Compensation is $20–$23 per hour plus benefits.

Our client is looking for a Lab Optics Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate has a strong troubleshooting mindset, experience with optical transport technologies and testing methodologies, and is comfortable working directly with hardware, cabling, and test equipment.

This individual should be detail-oriented, capable of following structured test procedures, documenting results accurately, and partnering closely with engineering teams to validate and troubleshoot new technologies

Compensation:

$20-23

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
