Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Lab Optics Technician to join their client’s team in Allentown, PA. This entry-level role focuses on supporting optical transport testing, troubleshooting, and hardware lab activities.

You will follow structured test procedures, document results, and collaborate with engineers to validate new technologies. Associates or a BA are required, with networking/telecom exposure valued. Compensation is $20–$23 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors Degree
• Education or internship experience within networking, telecom or hardware lab environment

Responsibilities

• Follow structured test procedures and document results accurately
• Troubleshoot and validate new technologies in collaboration with engineering teams
• Work directly with hardware, cabling and test equipment and maintain lab cleanliness and organization
• Partner with engineers to validate and troubleshoot new technologies
