Job summary

Dexis seeks a Data Collector to support a large Army test and evaluation program. The entry-level role involves data collection, basic writing, range scheduling, and editorial support, with training provided.

Work will be onsite in Aberdeen, Maryland, with potential travel across the CONUS and OCONUS. The position requires English proficiency, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; distance from Aberdeen may be required as mission needs arise.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience using a computer and Microsoft software or two accredited computer classes.
• GPA requirements of 2.5+ in math/science and 3.0+ in English at HS or 2.5+ in college English.
• Must possess a high school diploma.
• Proficient in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding English.
• Clear and concise oral and written communication.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
• Must meet physical requirements for field work with PPE as needed.
• Willingness to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.

Responsibilities

• Acquire knowledge of equipment and data collection procedures through training.
• Familiarize with detailed data collection procedures and repetitive tasks.
• Assist with examining equipment for flaws on routine projects.
• Observe operation to detect malfunctions and record data.
• Monitor test instruments and record related data.
• Download test data from onboard instrumentation.
• Perform specified arithmetic computations.
• Extract and compile data and narrative information from records and drawings.
• Capture image data to support test activities.
