Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Test Cell Technician - Level 2 to provide technical expertise, troubleshoot issues, and ensure quality in engineering processes at our Arvada, CO site. You will report to the Production Supervisor and work on-site, performing assembly and testing of Sundyne portfolio machines.

The role requires 3–7 years of related experience, ability to read drawings, and proficiency with micrometers and bore gauges. Overtime may be required to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and interpret machine drawings to verify part conformance when issues arise.
• Proficient in using precise measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges.
• Understanding of instrumentation use and calibration of all test stand equipment.
• Ability to follow written instructions, procedures and IOMs.
• Mathematical skills in algebraic functions required.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work in a cross functional team environment across all departments.

Responsibilities

• Assembles precision machine components including pumps, gearboxes, blowers and compressors.
• Builds and tests all machines in Sundyne portfolio.
• Sets up and conducts unit tests, records data per specs.
• Interfaces with engineering and customers, including 3rd party inspectors.
• Performs TPM on test stands and maintains safe working habits.
• Keeps work areas neat to maximize efficiency.
• Willing to work overtime to meet deadlines.
