Job summary

A&M Technologies, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Test Automation Engineer to lead automated testing efforts for DoD and government-focused projects. The role requires security clearance and deep expertise in cloud/hybrid environments, testing strategies, and scripting across multiple frameworks.

The candidate will design, implement, and execute automated tests, analyze results, and ensure secure, compliant delivery within an Agile team using Jira for task management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years' experience designing and executing automated system testing.
• Must meet DOD 8140 requirements (Security+ CE).
• Experience delivering similar scope projects as a Test Automation Engineer.
• Proficient with scripting: Selenium, Cucumber, Bash, PowerShell, Ansible, Groovy (Jenkins).
• Expertise with test automation frameworks: Linear, Modular, Data Driven, and Behavior Driven.
• Understanding load vs functional testing with test result analysis.
• Familiar with security requirements in secure environments.
• Knowledge of Agile and decomposing tasks for Jira stories.
• Strong troubleshooting and technical documentation skills.

Responsibilities

We are actively seeking Test Automation Engineer candidates who have an understanding of working in ServiceNow and overseeing a total system perspective including technical understanding of relationships, dependencies and requirements of cloud and hybrid services, infrastructure and security domains. Must have an TS/SCI with Poly clearance to be considered.

Required Experience Include

• 10+ years' experience in designing and executing automated system testing plus a Bachelor's degree is required.
• Must meet DOD 8140 requirements (Security+ CE Certification at minimum)
• Demonstrated expertise as a Test Automation Engineer delivering similar scope projects
• Experience developing scripts using selenium, cucumber, bash, PowerShell, Ansible, and groovy (Jenkins)
• Expertise with Test Automation Frameworks: Linear Frameworks, Modular Frameworks, Data Driven Frameworks, Behavior Driven Frameworks (Would be a bonus for future AI development)
• An understanding of Load Testing verses Functional Testing with a demonstrated ability to analyze test results
• Understanding of all security related requirements in secure environments
• Familiar with Agile Methodologies and ability to accurately decompose tasks for Jira stories
• Expert troubleshooting and solutioning skills
• Strong technical documentation skills

Qualifications

• Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with other Cloud environments (Azure, Google, Oracle, IBM)
• Experience with IBM Enterprise Lifecycle Management, TeamWork Cloud/Cameo experience, Microsoft Project and/or Tableau
• Familiarity with reviewing and responding to system alerts from visualization applications such as Grafana
