Job summary

Infosys Limited in Jersey City, NJ, is seeking a Technology Consultant 2 to contribute to automated testing initiatives across AI-enabled and traditional banking projects. The role focuses on Java Selenium automation, API testing with Rest Assured, and SQL validation, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver robust quality.

You will participate in SDLC, design test strategies, review code, and help implement CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in Java Selenium automation and TestNG framework.
• Experience in API testing and Rest Assured test automation.
• Experience in SQL testing and database validation.
• Experience designing, creating, and managing test data based on business scenarios and rules.
• Experience working with ALM, Jira, Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Understanding of STLC lifecycle and testing processes.
• Experience building, customizing, deploying, and managing test automation frameworks.
• Experience developing automation code and ensuring test coverage.
• Ability to understand, adopt, and leverage AI Agents available within the client ecosystem for testing activities.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the requirements elicitation process by documenting assigned parts of business requirements, in line with guidance provided.
• Facilitate software application design discussions, and document design decisions to guide the technical team towards building software solutions.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features or updates into existing applications, with a focus on maintaining system stability.
• Conduct code reviews, do changes to the codebase and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyse results, and coordinate bug fixes to uphold the software quality standards.
• Develop user training programs, documentation, and support frameworks to ensure a smooth transition to new software applications.
• Actively participate in resolving production issues and recommend preventive strategies to enhance system reliability.
• Maintain detailed records of code, testing techniques, and support activities to enrich the knowledge base and assist other similar projects.
