Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Technology Consultant 1 to join the Financial Services unit focused on testing and quality assurance for AI-enabled financial software solutions. The role involves UI/API testing, SQL validation, and participating in SDLC activities within a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability, data integrity, and reliable deployment through CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and modern DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in UI, API, integration testing and database validation using SQL.
• Experience with REST Assured, Postman, Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and API testing.
• Experience supporting functional, regression and integration testing for system stability and data integrity.
• Experience defining test strategies and coordinating defect triage and resolution.
• Experience validating high-volume transactional systems and real-time/batch processing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting targeted interviews and workshops to capture user needs and document requirements.
• Participate in design discussions to capture software specifications and aid in process documentation.
• Develop, refine, and document code for new software applications following design specs.
• Execute test plans, analyze outcomes, and report defects to improve software performance.
• Support integration of new features ensuring smooth transitions within the existing system.
• Monitor and troubleshoot live applications, documenting issues for ongoing maintenance.
