Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a hands-on QA/Automation Engineer in New Jersey to drive test automation across the banking domain. The role emphasizes end-to-end SDLC, design reviews, and rigorous QA sign-offs for production releases.

You will work with Selenium, Java, Playwright, and CI/CD tools, participating in DevOps practices and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in test automation tools Selenium, Java, Playwright, Cucumber & SQL.
• Experience with tools such as Cucumber, Cypress, TestNG, IntelliJ, GitHub and Eclipse.
• Proficient in Agile methodology and designing test cases and test execution.
• Experience in SQL, Stored Procedures, ETL, data management and concepts.
• Experience on Unix platforms and shell scripting.
• Experience in DevOps environment, Gitlab, SCD and CI/CD for test data pipelines.
• Responsible for designing test plan, approach, scenarios, cases, defect tracking and reporting.
• Ability to provide QA sign-off and test closure report.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirements elicitation by documenting business requirements.
• Facilitate design discussions and document decisions for the team.
• Participate in coding and integrate new features with stability focus.
• Conduct code reviews and maintain code repositories.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate fixes.
• Develop user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and suggest preventive strategies.
• Maintain detailed records to enrich knowledge base.
