# Test Automation EngineerApply**Job#: 3056271****Job Description:****REMOTE - QA Automation Engineer (Java/API)****About the Team**This team delivers core business data to multiple endpoints, including email, print, data storage, data messaging and synchronization for internal and external clients, and SMS text messaging. As a member of the Messaging team, you'll partner with business and technical leadership to support the vision, strategic plan and roadmap for the organization's messaging architecture. The team works with IT solutions groups, IT architecture, Product Management, Information Security, third-party vendors and partners, and executive leadership. You'll test solutions that support customers and employees, helping make processes more flexible and efficient and improving the experience for both groups. The team helps the business use technology for more efficient, cost-effective processes in a complex, high-volume environment where response times matter.**Responsibilities**As a QA Automation Engineer, you'll review requirements to decide what functionality needs testing, through both manual and automated testing. You'll design, write, run and maintain software test plans and test cases. You'll test applications and document, track and report defects. You'll also analyze test results, help find the root cause of issues and re-test after fixes. You'll set and monitor quality control checkpoints, share test results with internal stakeholders and track metrics to meet service level agreements and quality standards. You'll join a collaborative team that works on high-priority projects.
