Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced automation test engineer to build and maintain automated testing for APIs, interfaces, web services, and enterprise applications. The role requires 5+ years of experience and familiarity with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman/Newman, REST-assured, JUnit, or pytest, with CI/CD integration.

Work in Agile/SAFe environments and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders while aiming to improve quality, traceability, and release confidence.

Qualifications

• Experience developing automated tests for APIs, interfaces, or enterprise apps.
• 5+ years in software testing or test automation.
• Experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Postman/Newman, REST-assured, JUnit or pytest.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines or source control.
• Document results, coverage, and regression outcomes.
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA access.
• Experience in Agile/SAFe environments.
• Public Trust clearance preferred

• Develop automated scripts, test data support, reporting outputs, and reusable automation assets
• Improve quality, traceability, and release confidence

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines or source control workflows

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines or source control workflows

• Ability to obtain and maintain VA access
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments
• Experience supporting Federal IT programs preferred
• Experience supporting enterprise application implementations preferred
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Agility, GitHub, or similar tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders
• Momentum Financials/iFAMS or ERP testing exposure preferred
• Experience with performance, data validation, or contract testing
• Experience supporting federal Agile delivery teams
• Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
